We had a very eventful Christmas this year. Isaac slept from 7:30 pm last night until 7:30 am this morning and seemed OK when he awoke. The kids were very excited to see that Santa had indeed come.
Isaac went to the Christmas stockings and brought Ben one of his new stuffed toys (a small jaguar), and Ben actually reached out to touch it and smiled! It was the very first time he has ever done that, and we were very excited. He did it several more times today. That was the best Christmas present I could have received this year.
Then we unwrapped presents which took a surprisingly long time. Ben got a brand new Bumbo seat which will help him to sit upright more. He seems to like sitting in it for short periods, but gets annoyed when left in it for more than 15 mins or so.
Santa had even brought a Nintendo Wii and everyone enjoyed playing it:
Isaac’s fever returned about dinnertime. He hasn’t eaten anything much today at all (I think just half a cookie) but is drinking plenty of fluids. He’s been taking his antibiotics and Tylenol, and did seem to feel better later tonight. He certainly perked up enough to play “The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure” with me tonight, so hopefully he will feel better tomorrow than he did today.
